The Project
Louise Matthews at The Gresham Hotel in Weymouth commissioned me to re-brand a newly acquired hotel. The brief was to keep a traditional but fresh appearance for this elegant Georgian building right on the seafront. The look needed to convey class, yet friendly, without appearing to be “unaffordable”.
The branding is based on a unique typeface with reference to Louise’s Irish roots and a logomark to remind of the fanlight. A style guide was created so that suppliers could produce content that would follow the brand and integrate well, from signage to social media.
