The Project
Rick Townsend at The Blue Raddle commissioned me to design their website. At the time The Blue Raddle didn’t have a web presence, and so it was a great opportunity to review the whole branding that would enhance this well-known and established independent local pub.
The branding is centred on the ‘Laughter on Tap’ strapline, working closely with the illustrator Chris Townsend a sheep couple that would make jokes at every suitable opportunity was created. The irreverent sense of humour is supported with a handwriting style typeface throughtout the branding collateral, from signage to print to web.
