Ocean Top USA, the bestseller USB flashdrive company has commissioned didier.co.uk to develop a logo for their flagship site. The company which is renowned in the UK under the brand TPG will be selling their new flashdrive on their website as of now.
From the company’s point of view the brief was simple, make a logo that shows the strength of a brand associated with product quality and fast delivery.
For the designer it was more complex and the choice needed to be reduced to colour and country. Stripes and stars are predominant element of the US flag and that was the beginning of the research, based on these element we decided to minimise these points but still use them as focal points. Colours where inline with the flag as well as stars and a rounded stripe.
